We will only discuss roles that we reasonably believe are genuine.

We will not misrepresent:

  • Job security
  • Hiring urgency
  • Exclusivity
  • Client relationships

Interview or offer likelihood

If a role changes, we will aim to update candidates and clients as soon as reasonably practicable.

Advertising standards

Any job advertisement, role summary, or public communication from GemSource Recruitment must be accurate, current, and not misleading.

We will not knowingly publish false information about a role, employer, recruitment process, or workplace conditions.

Candidate consent

We will not send a candidate’s CV, profile, identity, or personal details to a client without written permission, unless disclosure is required or authorised by law.

Candidate consent must be informed, current, and specific to the role or client being discussed.

Candidate communication

We aim to give candidates clear and accurate information about:

  • The role
  • The process
  • Known timelines
  • Salary expectations
  • Selection criteria
  • Client requirements

Next steps

We will not promise interviews, shortlist selection, job offers, salary outcomes, or placement success unless there is a genuine basis to do so.

Client communication

We aim to give clients clear and honest advice about:

  • Market conditions
  • Candidate availability
  • Salary alignment
  • Hiring risk
  • Process delays
  • Shortlist quality

Likely recruitment outcomes

We will not claim exclusivity, preferred supplier status, or decision-making authority unless that is accurate and agreed.

Fees and commercial transparency

GemSource Recruitment does not charge candidates prohibited fees.

Where we charge a client, fees and commercial terms will be disclosed before services are provided and confirmed in writing where appropriate.

Confidentiality and privacy

We protect candidate, client, and business information from unauthorised access, use, or disclosure.

We use personal information only for legitimate recruitment and business purposes, and in line with our Privacy Policy.

Fair treatment

We assess candidates based on merit, suitability, role requirements, and relevant experience.

We do not support discriminatory decision-making or irrelevant considerations in recruitment processes.

Complaints and concerns

If a candidate, client, or stakeholder has a concern about GemSource Recruitment’s conduct, they can contact us directly.

We will review complaints fairly, keep appropriate records, and take corrective action where needed.
